We are applying molecular biology and synthetic biology tools to better detect and control agricultural insect pests.

Our projects include the development of a CRISPR-based insect identification field kit, sustainable production of insect pheromones for monitoring and trapping, and engineering pesticide resistance in natural predators of pests.
